Why a New Library?

Degahbour city and the wider Jarar Zone have experienced rapid growth in schools and student enrollment, yet access to public learning spaces remains limited. The current library can no longer meet demand. A new, modern public library is urgently required to expand access to education, bridge the digital divide, and preserve Somali culture and heritage.

Project Vision

The New Degahbour Public Library will be a modern G+2 facility designed to serve over 3,000 users daily.
